Want to get involved?
Happy people are the most inspired. No-one built a brand in a bad mood. That’s why we’ve created a workplace that allows people to take risks, find mischief, have a voice, speak up, out, call it and never be afraid to be challenged.
We’re on the lookout to expand our team a little. If bandstand feels like the right fit, we’d love to hear from you.
About us
At bandstand, we use the power of creativity to solve business problems. Breaking barriers, simplifying the complex, and flipping the narrative, we use our approach of rebellious inquiry + creative collaboration to ignite change for ambitious brands and challenge traditions with intent.
Fiercely independent, bold, and sharp-minded, we blend strategic insight with creative execution across brand, design, advertising, and content; we create work that drives meaningful change for brands ready to make an impact.
We’re sector agnostic, although we do have greater depth of experience in place & destination, travel, energy & utilities, infrastructure, education & students.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a Midweight Creative Copywriter to join our creative team for a 12-month, fixed-term contract, for 3 days per week.

You’ll have a willingness to dive in and give stuff a go, as we answer all your questions and help you grow as a Creative.
You’ll work on campaigns, brand pieces, tactical executions, positioning and naming. Whether you’re tackling web copy, property brochures, digital banners, big, sexy billboards or film scripts, you’ll be positive, driven, have a can-do attitude and thrive in working as part of a team.
The right candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar role within a creative agency
- Ability to think creatively and develop a core idea across layers of messaging and applications
- First things first – come up with big, gusty creative ideas
- Experience in writing strong, succinct, grammatically correct copy

- Receive internal and external feedback with humility and gusto
- Respond to client briefs and creative strategies
- Manage your time effectively and understand agency process
