The role

Our strategy department is growing and we’re creating a new role for a hybrid strategist to work in close partnership with our Brand Strategy Director.

The role will require you to help drive our strategic offering; from both a brand and comms perspective, so you’ll be adept at building brands, from positioning to innovation strategy and brand architecture, as well as being skilled in creative and campaign planning, to grow that side of our offering.

You will lead multiple projects for an array of clients from property brands, placemaking, entertainment through to charity; and other sectorsThis is a hybrid role; you will be the perfect balance of left and right brain – strategic rigour combined with creative flair.

About you

You will have a minimum of 8 years working in a creative agency and have passion for both brands and comms. You will have an in-depth understanding of the creative process from using insights and turning these into a fully-fledged brief, strategic vision or campaign strategy, that will excite and inspire the creative department and our clients.

You’ll be an excellent communicator, as you’ll be presenting to clients, and above all else, you’ll have the ability to distil and craft a compelling story.

Skills and experience

The role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Artworker to join an exciting integrated agency in central London. We have a diverse portfolio of clients including luxury goods, film, travel, retail, charity, property and public sector.

About you

You will have a minimum of seven years’ experience, be dependable, well organised and a personality in our lively and busy studio. You will have the ability to quality-control work, have an eye for typography, layout, imagery and production. You will be confident advising colleagues and clients in production techniques, print process and project sign-off.

Applicants should have good time management skills, strong attention to detail, an ability to retain information and a solid understanding of production processes and digital technologies. Accomplished InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop skills are essential.

The role

Our Creative Services team is growing! We are looking for a mid-weight producer to support our production team and to work alongside our creatives, copywriters and client services teams to help manage the end-to-end production process – from initial brief to budgets and timelines to delivery.

bandstand is an integrated full-service strategic and creative agency based in Soho. We believe courage creates possibilities. What you will do

  • Aid the production of multiple content-based, conceptual, stills, moving image and digital campaigns
  • Help analyse and scope out creative ideas to ensure they are achievable on time and within budget
  • Budget for the above types of production, anything from a TVC to a corporate talking head and everything else in between
  • Be responsible for budgetary control and authorisation of spending associated with the projects, conducting timely reconciliations with the Heads of Department and Finance teams
  • Work closely with the account service teams, project managers and other creatives in project planning and necessary resource requirements (additional freelancers both creative and production/additional facilities)
  • Work closely with independent production companies to deliver campaigns/briefs
  • Reconcile and monitor budgets and cost reports
  • Establish and maintain effective working relations with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including marketing, media planning, and local teams
  • Work with clients/stakeholders to understand their needs and interpret briefs
  • Provide both strategic and practical knowledge to stakeholders on how projects should be implemented, whilst delivering solutions in relation to brief and budget
  • Take onboard feedback and translate that into your work

Essential

  • A minimum of five years’ production experience in delivering multi-discipline campaigns, with shoot experience for short-form advertising, corporate or promotional campaigns
  • A proven track record of managing cross-platform digital projects with large groups of distributed stakeholders and project team members
  • Experience at a well-respected agency/in-house creative department for high-profile media brands
  • Experience of creating complex timing plans
  • Experience of devising and refining detailed production workflows and procedures
  • Experience of managing location production shoots
  • Familiarity with casting and sourcing participants for various different production genres
  • Familiarity with broadcast standard equipment and post-production workflows
  • Ability to use proficiently a range of software packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, AE)
  • Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team
  • Experience working with clients to tight production deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and creative thinking when it comes to budgeting
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to self-shoot / camera experience would be beneficial
