Introducing United Kingdoms:
A knowledge and cultural exchange initiative connecting the UK and Saudi Arabia.

In a world that has become increasingly interconnected, meaningful cultural and professional exchange has never been more important. Which is exactly what has driven us to create this new initiative between the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With United Kingdoms, we are connecting young professionals from the UK and Saudi Arabia in order to share skills, ideas, and cultural understanding. Launched in July of this year, this initiative has been designed to foster deeper mutual understanding and practical collaboration between the two nations and enables young talent from both nations to develop skills, broaden perspectives, and build lasting international connections.
From Saudi Arabia, emerging professionals are invited to London to immerse themselves in the fields of brand building, placemaking, and creative industry practice. Through workshops, mentorship, and hands-on project work, participants gain exposure to globally recognised approaches while also learning how to adapt these strategies within their own rapidly evolving market.

In parallel, young British professionals travel to Saudi Arabia, where they are introduced to the Kingdom’s cultural heritage, contemporary transformation, and dynamic business environment. This experience provides them with valuable cultural literacy, deeper insight into Arabian traditions, and first-hand understanding of how modernisation and rich heritage are coexisting and thriving.

Fadi Saad, CEO, Warriors, said, Saudi Arabia is undergoing a period of remarkable transformation, and our young people are central to that journey. By engaging with British peers, they not only gain valuable knowledge, but also share our culture, values, and aspirations with the world.

Tom Tootal, Founder, CEO, bandstand continued, at bandstand, we believe creativity thrives when cultures connect. This exchange is about more than skills, it’s about building understanding, respect, and shared ambitions between the UK and Saudi Arabia. By bringing young people together to learn from one another, we’re helping to shape a new generation of leaders who see the world through a broader, more collaborative lens.

The programme’s dual approach ensures there is a mutually beneficial knowledge exchange: Saudi participants return with enhanced skills to support national ambitions in culture, tourism, and identity-building, while British participants return with broadened worldviews and new professional and personal networks. Together, they create a bridge of creativity, respect, and knowledge-sharing that strengthens ties between the two nations and cultivates the next generation of globally minded leaders.
